Please help me! My SD card that has important pictures and videos has got corrupted, I don’t how and why? I am not able to open and access the data stored on it anymore. I have heard that there is cmd command that can help me to fix SD card corruption, but I do not know the exact process. Please help me that can fix my SD card corruption and restore my all photos and videos from it.

Simply follow the below steps to fix corrupted SD card Using cmd

  • Insert your SD card in card reader and connect it with your PC.
  • Click Start>Run. Type “cmd” and press Enter
  • New window will open. If your drive name is F: drive then enter the following command “CHKDSK E: /r”, where parameter “/r” is the command to repair the issue it finds.
  • Once the process complete select “Yes” and the CHKDSK will give the report what it has done. Now go back to my computer and check your drive is working or not.
