I need help. I have formatted SD in Android phone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow that asked me to format as internal memory, I agreed and formatted it. But when I moved the SD card to another device, it did not recognize it. So, I performed factory reset and then re-inserted the SD card in the same, but it only asking me to re-format it so I will lose all data I have.

How can I recover them back?

Hi Mathew,

If you have not formatted the SD card then you can first try running the CMD command to recover data from SD card that you have used as internal storage on your Android phone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

If CMD command doesn’t help you, then it is highly recommended that you must try SD card recovery software, it will help you to easily retrieve digital media files such as photos, videos and audio files from formatted SD card.

It doesn’t matter whether you have formatted SD card as internal storage on Android or on computer, the software is very much powerful. It scans the memory card and retrieves every single media files from it.
