There are no guarantees that you can retrieve files from the memory card that is broken into two halves, however there are few chances that you can try to retrieve files from broken SD card.

You can recover everything from broken SD card only if:

If it hasn’t lost the metal contacts and you can bind two halves and insert it into card reader that connects to your computer via USB port.

If that is so and when your computer detects your card then simply copy and paste data from card to computer.

In case, if your computer doesn’t able to detect your card – then first try trial version of Photo Recovery software as it has the capability to read broken memory card. If the software able to detect your SD card, then you can purchase the full version of the software and scan your card and recover photos, videos and audio files only.

But whatever you do, do not try to glue the halves together!

Because any kind of glue/paste will only increase the thickness of the card, making it impossible to get fit into the card reader slot.
