I have a question to ask, but I do not know whether this is the right place to ask or not. Anyways, I have purchased the new Nikon camera. Since I am a new user I am not able to take better photos in low light condition. So, if you have any advice or tips, then please share it with me.

Regards
Chris

Your camera has several modes and settings that will help you capture photos and videos in most conditions. When there is low light condition you can follow the below tips:

To use Normal capturing mode

  • Turn ON the camera and hold it in the landscape orientation
  • At the top right of the screen, drag the slider button accordingly so that the still camera is selected.
  • You can see the capturing mode icon on the top left of the screen and then select Normal.

To use the Multi auto focus setting

  • Make sure that your camera is in Normal capturing mode
  • Now pres the Menu key and then choose the Focus Mode
  • Tap Multi Auto-Focus

To use the Party scene setting

  • Make sure that your camera is in Normal capturing mode
  • Now pres the Menu key and then choose the Scenes
  • Tap Party

Tips – While you are taking photo, make sure that your subject should be as still as possible and your camera should remain as steady as possible.
