How to fix "Windows detected a hard disk problem"?

I have been using my computer since 1 year, it has been working fine, but yesterday, it has started to display the error message "Windows detected a hard disk problem. Back up your files immediately to prevent information loss, and then contact computer manufacturer to determine if you need to repair or replace the disk." So, what is the solution to fix this error message? Please help me!

This error can occur due to several reasons such as registry error, RAM issue, fragmented files, system file errors, virus infection, mechanical or logical errors.

Solution 1: Make Use System File Checker

System File Checker is a basic tool that is offered by Windows that is not known by many common PC users. With the help of this tool many problem can be solved very easily. Since you do not have any idea which system file is damaged or vital, this tool will help you in checking the system file and handle the problem. Follow the below steps:

  • Click Start and type in cmd in the search box and right Click and select Run As Administrator


  • Now type sfc /scannow and hit Enter key


Now wait for scan process to get completed. This command will scan all protected system files and fix all corrupted files with a backup copy.
